This month, Torus, was selected by Guidewire to receive an honourable mention at the 2013 Guidewire Innovation Awards.
As part of a select group of Guidewire customers, Torus, along with our business partner, Business Agility, was recognised for ‘Process Innovation’ for the innovative customisation of our global state-of-the art claims management system, ClaimCenter®, which was implemented in November 2011.
ClaimCenter® is an application that supports the end-to-end claim management process across Torus’ Global Claims team. It was implemented in November 2011 to deliver enhanced claims efficiency and improved speed and accuracy of claims payments for our customers worldwide.
Claimcenter® interfaces with Sharepoint to provide a fully functional and scalable document management solution, with features such as advanced search capability and ‘Drag n Drop’ from MS Outlook. It delivers improved controls, greater transparency and assists in meeting our compliance obligations.
The Claims and the ClaimCenter® project team have customised the system to work directly with London Market Messages to enable advanced notification and proactive management of ‘bureau’ lead claims. Claimcenter® positions the Claims team to improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer focus and ultimately reduce claims cost.
